Iranian VOD platforms to host two new series

Two new series, directed by Kiarash Asadizadeh, are set to hit the small screens on VOD platforms in Iran.

A social drama titled ‘Seven’ will be distributed free of charge, starting from November 14.

The series tells the story of seven youngsters with big dreams and limited resources. To earn money, the group of seven has to step foot in the world of crimes.

Notable among the cast members of the flick are Nazanin Bayati, Niki Karimi, Hanieh Tavassoli, Mina Sadati, Ali Mossafa, Mehdi Hashemi, Hadis Miramini, Babak Hamidiyan, Amir Jafari, Reza Kianian and Pantea Bahram.

On November 17, the first episode of a long-awaited social comedy titled ‘Notebook’ will be available on a VOD platform in Iran.

In the series, written by Masoud Khakbaz, famed Iranian comedian Reza Attaran plays the role of a fraudulent doctor who tries to extort money from the poor nurses of a hospital.

Hassan Majouni, Hossein Soleimani, Rima Raminfar, Siamak Ansari, Mina Sadati, Sogol Khaliq and Kazem Sayyahi comprise the cast list of the flick.
